Bar Services
Cash Bar: Guests cover the cost for their own drinks. However, client is still responsible for any and all applicable facility fees for total sales at the end of the evening.
Partially Hosted: Client covers the cost for a pre set number of drinks for their party guests.
Options include: pre determined ticket amount, host commits ‘x’ amount of money towards bar. Specific bar requests for this are common and may include: just beer and wine, full bar and then it regresses to a cash bar when pre set limit is hit , pre-mixed ‘specialty’ drinks, Limited open bar, etc. The ‘hosted’ part will be charged a 20-22% gratuity.
Fully Hosted or Open Bar: Client covers the cost for everything. We do this on a per-consumption/drink basis. We do add a 20-22% gratuity to that total.
There is a base set-up fee of $250 dollars for each bar which includes set-up/breakdown, 1 bartender, and 1 bar back for up to 4 hours. Drink Minimums apply. Please call for details. 361.884.1399

FAQ’s
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
Absolutely not. According to TABC regulations, all liquor must be provided by a licensed professional (aka: Us.) As they say, “The law is the law” and TABC prohibits us from allowing ANY outside liquor. If outside beverages are found, we must enforce this rule and ask that it be removed. Please make sure this rule is understood by your family/friends/ guests. They are a great help in keeping an eye out for any ‘loose cannon’ guests that have b
rought it in!
Can we request to have a special wine/champagne to be made available to our guests?
Of course!! J This is available through one of the ‘hosted’ options. The client tells us how many bottles of ‘XYZ’ they would like to purchase for their function, and we arrange for it. We will serve the wine or champagne free of charge to guests and the client pays for all bottles. (whether they have been opened or not) At the end of the function, they may take all bottles of wine/champagne with them. Pricing for this is entirely dependent upon your choices.
How does the Champagne toast work?
There are various ways to do this. In 2010, the bride and groom typically supply champagne for their wedding party and immediate family only and opt to let other guests toast with whatever beverage is in their hands at the time. However, if you would like to provide Champagne for all of your guests, that is fine too. One bottle of Champagne will yield 6-8 glasses. 20 glass champagne flutes are provided to clients on a complimentary basis. If you need to exceed that limit, we rent glasses at $1.00 each.
If we ‘pre-purchase’ alcohol, specifically X number of beers or a pre-mixed specialty drink, may we take that with us?
Here again, the answer is no. TABC law states that only wine or Champagne may be taken with you at the end of the evening.
Glass or Plastic?
It’s up to you on this one. If you would like real glasses we can provide them for you at a charge. Or we can provide all plastic, at no fee.
Will you serve minors?
Do you really need to ask? The answer is NO here. We recognize that this is a ‘private’ event, but TABC liquor laws still apply. However, if a parent would like to purchase alcohol for their child, that is allowed. If we see someone, other than a parent serving a minor, we reserve the right to postpone service until the circumstance is resolved.
Will you card my guests?
Absolutely. We have a responsibility to card any person trying to purchase alcohol. No ID equals no service…It’s not our rule, it’s TABC…
What if my party is not on your ‘list’ of approved venues?
We are NOT allowed to bring OUR alcohol onto residential property or into a facility that already has any type of license to sell alcohol except when their license gives designated ‘areas’. Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission limits the settings where we can bring in alcohol. For example, we are not allowed in the Ortiz Center, but we are legally allowed in certain rooms at the American Bank Center. Some places require all vendors that come onto their property be on their ‘approved catering’ list. This ensures that everyone is properly licensed and insured. The easiest way to check is for you to send us the address and ‘name’ of the property where the function will be held. If we don’t know, we can check with TABC and get back to you.
